Julian has 26 years experience in Exhibition and Conference Management, PR/marketing and Publishing, focusing o-n the transport and logistics fields.

1996 - 2001 ITE Group PLC - Director of Transport Division, responsible for TransRussia in Moscow for 5 years, which was one of Europe's largest transport exhibition and developed transport events in Kazakhstan and Turkey.

November 2001 - Established The East-West Partnership - organised Danube Summit in Romania (2002) and Serbia (2004). Worked as consultant to Informa PLC developing new transport exhibition in Moscow.

June 2005 - Converted The East West Partnership into EWP Communications Ltd with Patrick Hicks as co-Director.

In addition to founding EWP Communications Ltd, Patrick Hicks is currently Secretary General of the Container Owners Association (COA). COA membership has grown from an initial 20 founding members to over 120, since it was launched in November 2004.

Julian joined EWP Communications in February 2008. His extensive track record of Event Launches, Organising and Consultancy stretches over 20 years and several Markets, including Western, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He is involved in every aspect of  Event and Project delivery, from conceptualisation through to execution.
