Cavotec is the home of MoorMaster, an innovative vacuum-based mooring system. All MoorMaster mooring systems have been designed and developed with safety as their number one design factor. MoorMasterT mooring system has been developed to suit numerous port and vessel types, including container terminals, bulk terminals, Ro/Ro vessels and ferries.We also design and manufacture Alternative Maritime Power (AMP) systems, also called (Cold Ironing) which can be fitted on ships and on quaysides and focuses on reducing emissions from ferries, container and oil vessels docked in ports. Instead of running on diesel power while at berth, AMP-equipped ships "plug in" to shore side electrical power - literally an alternative power source for oceangoing vessels.
